Paria Sadat Lavasani, after receiving her PhD of Molecular Medicine, began painting, self-taught and out of love for art. She then studied Iranian painting. Since she is interested in art, human cognition, mysticism, spirituality, ethics, and psychological studies and has conducted research in these fields, she uses these backgrounds to create her artwork. Surrealist and expressionist art are her main favorite subjects, in which reality and dream merge or emotions are depicted.
